I clean houses for a living so I’ve used many kinds of cleaners. But the one I prefer is the Dirt Devil Swivel Glide Upright. I clean our church which is a huge building, they have a Dyson, I still like my Dirt Devil much better. Over the last 10 to 15 yrs. I’ve owned 3 or 4 vac’s and only one of those was a different brand I had it for a few months and I could’nt take using the other any longer so I ordered me a new Dirt Devil. All I can say is it’s the one I prefer I clean my house and other places an average of at least 40 hours a week and I’m never disappointed in the cleaner if it is a Dirt Devil. I give the Dirt Devil double the 5 star rating.

When you first take this out of the box, it seems like this will be a decent vacuum for the money. I bought two, trying to replace one i had several years ago. This model is very different in that you can’t easily unclog the hose or replace the belt. Within two month of buying these, they are both heading out to the trash. the company i bought them from was NOT helpful… just spouted that it was out of their warrenty period and wished me luck. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM!!!!
I had brought 2 of these vacuums and I now see what they mean you get what you pay for. These vacuums leave behind more then they pick up. have 2 dogs which I know are a high demand on any vacuum, but my sister used to clean houses for a living and has a Kirby and swears by it. She too had a regular vacuum and had a Kirby rep do a demo against her vacuum and the kirby won hands down. Alot of money considerably but none the less it still picked up everything that her vacuum left behind. She came over a few weeks ago and used her Kirby and same thing it picked up stuff my vacuum left behind. I guess for $100.00 you get the $100.00 results. I am getting a new vacuum as these will be going in the trash where they belong. Every time I vacuum I have to pass over every area at least 4 times and stuff is still left there.
